When my daughter was born, she completely changed my world. I fell in love with her and she filled my heart with so much joy. Words can't possibly describe all the emotions I felt in those first few hours, days and weeks. I spent countless hours staring at her. I wanted to remember every feature of her, down to the smallest detail and embed in my memory. She was perfect.
I woke up one morning, set her up on the bassinet and grabbed my comforter, and took my first newborn photos. To this day, I treasure these photos and I know I will cherish them forever.
